Trosnoth is a free network game written in Python.
Why
The Trosnoth idea was conceived by a bunch of Übertweak leaders who were looking for another network game to play on camp that:
- was low-cost
- was team-based
- involved strategy
- was easy to teach
Technologies
Trosnoth is built using the following technologies:
- Python, version 2.7
- Pygame, version 1.8 or newer
- Twisted
- For Windows, you seem to also need win32api.
Status
As of September 2015, active work is still continuing on Trosnoth, though it usually comes in bursts around the seasons that the Übertweak camps run, since Übertweak is still the main community that uses the game.
